Uno Ahrén . Sweden (1897 – 1977) Uno Åhrén, architect and urban planner, was one of the pioneers in the development of the style known as Swedish Modern. He took impression of Le Corbusier's architecture and Germany's socially-oriented housing in the 1920's. Walter Gropius was also a great source of inspiration to Åhrén.
