EPSCO’s mission is to increase employment levels and improve living and working conditions in the EU as a whole, ensuring a high level of human health and consumer protection. The EPSCO Council brings together ministers responsible for employment, social affairs, health and consumer policy from all EU Member States. The EU's response to the outbreak and the cooperation between all parties have been very good, but the situation has changed. Our debate today showed that member states are ready to adapt their response, strengthen their cooperation and undertake the appropriate measures to focus both on prevention and treatment.

The Informal Employment and Social Affairs Council (EPSCO) under the EU Presidency of Croatia will take place in Zagreb on 27-28 April 2020.Eurofound’s Executive Director Juan Menéndez-Valdés will participate in the meeting and contribute on issues relating to well-being and the future of work.
