Imbel parts kits are great. They’re FN contracted so they’re well made. Building an FAL isn’t terribly hard. Special tools you’ll need (assuming your imbel kit has a populated barrel like mine did, if not you’ll probably need a press too but I’m not sure) barrel/receiver wrench, headspace gauges, and some pin gauges.
